Planning to hold an event and would want to have some unique and special air of festivity? Do you need to ensure that you combine a whimsy of the outdoors and the glamour of indoors to create unforgettable and intimate moments in a personalized venue? If yes, consider the following tips when considering Vancouver tent rentals.

1. Consider the size of your venue.

The size of the site where the tent will be spread out can make a lot of difference when looking for tents to hire. The number of guests obviously influences the size of the venue and, therefore, will help you to decide. When looking for the right tent, ensure that it will fit the venue and still give you some extra space for set-up, anchoring, and ‘breathing’ space.

2. The surface of the venue

The other tip should be a proper consideration of the surface of the site where the tent will be pitched. The safest way of pitching up a tent is staking, but it would require a proper surface and the right surface. Soil and gravel are good materials for staking, although other options such as stone, sand, asphalt, and other surfaces may work out well, too.

3. The location is of the essence.

The location where you want to pitch the tent also needs careful considerations in relation to the weather. If you are setting your venue in a valley or areas that are prone to strong winds, for example, special staking will be required. Additionally, you may want to look for a tent with walls to shield your guests from unexpected weather changes.

4. Follow the right regulations.

Regulations governing event holding must be considered and followed to the letter. For example, most events will have music, and it may be as loud. If this is bound to happen, ensure that it is within the allowed limits, especially if you are holding the event near homes, wildlife activity, health facilities, or public areas.

5. Leave space for service people.

Your event will definitely need service people, including those in charge of food, refreshments, power supply and monitoring, photography, and entertainment. While looking for a tent to hire and when it comes to the time to pitch it up, you should consider the needs of such service providers. The tent that you choose should allow for space for them.
